I want brunetti not because I think he is the best quarterback, but because he grew up a vol. and there is no greater formula for success than the desire and will to get your team the victory because of the passion you hold within for that team. if someone one is good, thats fine. but when there is almost no time left on the clock, i want the kid who is willing to lay his life on the line to bring joy to that which is the University of Tennessee!

Crompton grew up a vol and look at last year.

Scroggins vs. Stephens. After a year learning this system, I think Stephens could turn out to be somewhat capable. I realize that nobody will probably be all that great under-center for us next year. So maybe the best bet would just be for Stephens to have to beat out Scroggins for the job. If he can do that, then I'd like to see Scroggins come in to turn some heads as a sophomore.

I'll take Scroggins but I think no matter who we get, Stephens will be the starter next year. Will be kinda hard to beat a Sr. that will have a year of the new O under his belt.

I agree, that somewhat I were thinking when I post early today. I think that LK will redshirt freshman QB next year if NS win the started QB. It give that "freshman QB" more time to learn the system.

scroggins aint comin why do ppl still think he is

No one is a lock untill they sign! A couple weeks ago I would have said the same thing but now that USC has a true freshman starting at QB, that could help change Scroggins mind. Why ride the bench for 3 years when you could pretty much start right away at a top school that runs the same O as USC. Hers is a pretty interesting article, GO VOLS...
