2010 Game By Game

UT-Martin 31-14 W. It won't be pretty and Dooley will be glad they aren't playing an FBS opponent.

Oregon 38-14 L. Oregon is a top 20 team. Tennessee is maybe a top 50 team.

Florida 45-10 L. Brantley will make UT look worse than Tebow did.

UAB 28-17 W. Savor this one. It'll be some time before UT gets back in the win column.

at LSU 24-3 L. No QB+Inexperienced OL+Tiger Stadium=Beatdown.

at Georgia 21-10 L. Georgia isn't good, but they're better than UT.

Alabama 42-10 L. Get ready for another rendition of Rammer Jammer by the 35,000 Alabama fans in attendance.

at South Carolina 24-14 L. Spurrier's mediocre bunch extends the misery.

at Memphis 28-10 W. At last.

Ole Miss 21-17 W. The Rebs won't be very good this year.

at Vanderbilt 31-17 W. Neither will Vanderbilt.

Kentucky 24-21 W. I'm not picking Kentucky til they actually win one against UT.

Independence Bowl Who cares?

Completely fair and spot on assessment IMO...

If UGA or USCe were at home I might feel differantly but since they're both on the road I'm inclined to agree with you on those...

Do you agree that getting to a bowl game at all with this team would be a significant accomplishment on Dooley's part?

Getting that roster to the postseason would be a nice acomplishment.

I am holding out on losses to GA (this will be a statement game for Dooley) and SC........I will believe them when I see them.

we will beat Florida 19-22. I think our offensive line will be lookin good so long as we keep pope in at center.

interesting score their sr10123. Btw, our oline is going to get blown off the ball by Floridas dline. Get real man. Get realllll

Maybe so. But we should have no problem steam rolling Alabama this year. They lost everyone.

I totally agree. The matchup of their big DT Darius against Pope or Gooch at center is definitely in our favor. The 2nd best runningback on the team last year won the Heisman trophy, I'd say their offense is nothing more than mediocre. Montori will move the line whichever way he wants and crush Ingram and Richardson. Final score 52-0 Tennessee only because we let our foot off the gas from the 2nd quarter on.

We were better than Alabama last year. All we needed was a kicker. Looks like we might have the East all locked up this year.

are cody sullins and cory sullins brothers. cause it seems likely tht they are with the same last name and all.

i think there can be no question that both of them are very inexperienced and will take at least a game or two to get in a groove

but then again. Fromke is a very able quarterback and should see the field at some point thsi year,

Simms makes McElroy look like Tom Brady.

We'll never see Simms play a meaningful snap for UT. Bray will start. Seriously dude, McElroy looked worse than Crompton much of the year. And considering the OLine, RBs, and WR's that McElroy has, thats pathetic.

Agreed. Until Sims proves himself. which he won't, It looks like Bray all the way. and that rhymed.

Lets not forget McElroy's excellent national championship appearance, going a stellar 6 of 11 for 58 yards, while also evading the pass rush for only 5 sacks totalling a loss of 27 yards.

I can see that one going either way. After 4 straight losses and one win over Memphis High, Im not sure they'll have much confidence in facing conference competition.

6-6 or at worse 5-7.

Hell, if 6 wins is the prediction, I'd say we could do worse than 5. See 2005.

My worst case scenario is 4 wins. I'm calling 6, though. 7 at most if we can steal one at UGA or USCar.
