2010 Football SCHEDULE

I was actually just thinking the same thing. Both UAB and Tennessee have solid basketball programs, so it would be an RPI boost for both programs. UAB and Tennessee play in the same region, and even share a common rival-- Memphis.

The Bammers probably hate that you all are playing us in football. They simply refuse to play UAB in football (or any other meaningful sport for that matter). I respect the fact that Tennessee at least doesn't shy away from playing Memphis in football.
Bama would kill you just like Tn. does, get real.

No kidding? So tough schedule is going to get that much tougher?

That game was offered to Auburn for 2010 and they turned it down, if Tn. takes that game at least it will show that CDD wasn't afraid to take that game his 2nd
year like AU. Saban went for it when Bama fans thought what is he thinking, but look what it did for UA.

Sept. 4 Akron
Sept. 11 Oregon
Sept. 18 Florida
Sept. 25 UAB
Oct. 2 at LSU
Oct. 9 at Georgia
Oct. 23 Alabama
Oct. 30 at South Carolina
Nov. 6 at Memphis
Nov. 13 Mississippi
Nov. 20 at Vanderbilt
Nov. 27 Kentucky

Let's call it... 5 - 7 for 2010. I hate reruns.

Are you saying we're likely to lose to SC lite and KY? I respectfully disagree.

LSU is also beatable; we beat them in Baton Rouge in 05in what was a good season for them and a bad season for us. Yes, they have recruited well in recent yrs but have lost a good bit from this past season. I'm gonna go to their spring game here in BR.

Glad to see this thread bumped. I just got screwed out of a job so I'm gonna be living broke for a while, but I'm still saving up some money. I'm hoping to fly to K-town with a friend for the UofO game this season. I'll be enrolled at Oregon State by that time, so all the more reason to cheer against the Ducks. :)
