Alrighty then... :ermm:I believe ucla will be the key of are season, If we beat them the team is up beat if not it going to be a long season. Ho all start new qb back this year, ala, aud,ga, they going to have the same probloms as is . this might be one of are best year, we have the player to go take the fight to every team, i believe fl is the only team that on paper we can't hang with, but we as vols have heart, we fight, hit them and hit them some more, we will attack attack some more they will know we came to win. go big orange go vols. I say vols win 9 games plus 1 bowl 10win season
If that's true then the majority doesn't include me.
I think they still have enough talent to get an upset against at least one of the four everyone assumes they'll lose to: UGA, Ole Miss, UF, and Bama.
Bama may be the least likely since it is later in the season when injuries may have taken a toll on UT's thin depth chart. UGA and Ole Miss definitely look beatable to me... and I just can't see any staff headed by Houston Nutt beating UT's staff without an incredible disparity in talent.... I don't think that exists at this point.
I don't think the standard should drop just because a new coach is in charge... Everyone including me would be expecting Fulmer to win 9 and be in the mix for the SEC... Why is it different now since most of us believe the staff has been upgraded?

Because the staff aren't the guys on the field. My standards haven't been lowered but I do not expect more than 8 wins this first year. The Bammers expected to go undefeated during Saban's first year and we know how that turned out.
high expectations are one thing....lunacy is an entirely different thing.Right now I am going to keep on hoping for 10 wins plus a new years day bowl win. No need to have low expectations. Fans are supposed to be full of high hopes this time of year. I won't be down on the coaching staff if they don't win 10..........but during the off-season hope springs eternal. Go Vols!
