It's gonna be Bradford, McCoy, or everyone's favorite posterboy Tebow. Why even bother throwing a bunch more names together.

voters are going to find any reason to vote for the non bradford/mccoy/tebow option. mark my word.

Thing is Droski, those other guys listed better put up some playstation type numbers and be on a team that is in the running for the national championship.

ERIC BERRY FOR HEISMAN!!! If they could screw Peyton out of a Heisman with the best CB in college football at that time, then I don't care how good a QB plays, Berry better win it for being the best DB in college football since Charles Woodson... Which you could make the argument that Berry is light years better than Woodson was for Michigan...

woodson returned kicks and played WR AND was on a NC team. berry has no chance.

if we go bowling and berry can rack up a few hundred return yards with 2-3 td's as well as a repeat of last year's defensive stats they will have no choice but to have his name mentioned

from what Kiffin has said, if I am remembering correctly, Berry will be on the field returning some kicks this season... I doubt we'll see him on the offensive side unless it's absolutely necessary, but with a few int returns, he'll set the NCAA all-time record of return yards this season... I think an all-time NCAA record holds a little weight...

its fun to dream, and personally, EB is better at his position than anyone else on that list is at their respective position...

but REALLY? not a SINGLE defensive player is seen to even have a top 25 chance over some of the players on that list. If Woodson did it, they have to assume that it could happen again, atleast enough to put a defensive player somewhere in the top 25.

I have to disagree. The media campaign that we will likely see for the three top candidates in the Heisman race will be the most talked about event other than the MNC game.

Tebow will be the favorite for this upcoming season, no doubt. IMO, Meyer will probably leave Tebow in the game longer than necessary to pad stats against the sacrificial lambs of Charleston Southern and Troy. We all know Tebow has the talent as evidenced by his play but during the years when "Stats" are a deciding factor for the Heisman voters, this will be the year Meyer gives Tebow the chance to improve his statistics for the overall year and his chances of winning a 2nd Heisman trophy.

If Lane likes attention and top recruits, he'll be wise to start campaigning for Berry to win Heisman. Wouldn't mind Erik returning some kickoffs everynow and then too. He's a bitc. to bring down in the open field.

Here is Woodson's Heisman year stats and Eric Berry's stats from last year... Very comparable numbers in my opinion... The one stat that stands out is the offensive receptions that Woodson had. But I believe defensively, Berry is better. He also hits harder than Charles Woodson!

I disagree. as much as I would love to see tim get another, I think meyer will put it brantley anytime we're up 4+ scores atleast midway through the 3rd in games. brantley needs to be groomed and its too much of an injury risk to keep tim in. Sophomore year was a diff story. There's too much of a 'team' attitude this year.
even still, if tim puts up numbers similar to last year (a down year compared to 07) and UF goes wire to wire, he'll probably get it.

right that's why he is putting tebow under center because that is what is best for the "team."

I would put Pryor a lot higher. If OSU has a decent season and competes for a conference championship and a BCS bowl, then everyone will be building him up.

I can't think of any single reason that Pryor should be on any Heisman watch lists.
