2008 Titans

defense, defense, defense. they are a championship caliber defense. and Ben is a winner when it matters most.

we're not the best team out there, but we'll be in just about any game we play with a chance to win. winning on the road isn't intimidating to this group, most of these guys were on the team in 05 that played 3 straight on the road.

just roll the dice and see what happens. I think a rematch would be awesome.

If your offense sucks like you say, how are you planning on going anywhere in the playoffs? Much less beating the Titans on the road again?

I was asking myself the same question. How can you say the Titans are flawed because of their offense but then go on to say that the Steelers offense sucks? Then, the response is it's all about the defense. If so, shouldn't the Titans be in pretty good shape? Another thing, the Titans are better than the 5th best defense in the NFL. There is only one stat in my opinion that a defense should be judged by and that is points allowed. I could care less if a team moves the ball down the field if they come up with 0 points. No other team in the NFL has given up fewer points than the Titans at this point.

So do we look to draft a QB this spring? It's apparent that VY is terrible and we always be that way.

Nope. This coaching staff put up with 5-6 years of mcnair playing like an out of position fb at qb. You gotta know they're willing to wait longer on vince.

The only thing I don't like about this game is I think it gives Indy a little "we can pummel them" momentum if the two teams meet in the playoffs

And there is a real good chance that Indy will be the Titans first playoff matchup. Tennessee, being the top seed, will draw the lowest seed to advance to the second round. Indy being a 5 seed, and being hot right now, has a good chance of winning the first round game. I like their chances to advance better than the 6th seed which means Tennessee would get them.

Unless they play the chargers, who I really think have more momentum at this point. I dont trust the colts momentum since that 10-6 browns game a few weeks ago, which they were awful in....against the browns.

They've had a very easy latter part of the schedule too, which helped with that streak immensly, but till this week their wins were still close. They're the media fav though b/c the media wants to grab onto someone from the AFC, but they havent been playing like a fav

They could only wish that Vince was half as good as McNair.

That would help.

But Mcnair didnt really get good till around 2000/2001 (02 if you count it by the team's record). He wasnt really consistent/didnt play as much his first few years, and then even through the Super bowl run the team's offense was either eddie george run or pass to wycheck. It was a while into his career before mcnair came into.

I dont know about that. I think ravens have a decent chance against whoever wins the east.
If the broncos win I think they might win against the colts.
Only because its in Denver though. With the altitude and the cold temps Indy might have a problem. I dont know that would happen but thats what I would want to happen.

Baltimore will likely be the sixth seed, and I'd like their chances against whoever comes out of the East.

That's right, I was thinking Denver or San Diego would be the 6 but I wasn't thinking about them being a division winner. Forget what I said earlier. The 5 and 6 might be better than the 3 and 4 right now.

San Diego is a team that could be eliminated in the first round, or make it to the Super Bowl. I wish the Chiefs would have just taken care of them back in week 15.

I wasted three hours of my life watching that game yesterday. We clearly had packed it in. Play calling was vanilla, guys were playing that i had not even seen in the preseason. We just went through the motions yesterday. Indy going to the west coast will spell their doom. Even if they manage to beat the chargers. Just having to travel out there and playing a physical team, then coming back and getting a team coming off a bye doesn't bode well for them. I'm glad the playoffs set up that way for indy. They'll be one or two and done.

The Steelers gave the league the best case for limiting your starters in a meaningless game right before the playoffs. I have to wonder if a couple of the shots he took against us here set him up for that concussion.
