10-2 retuning to the BCS:dance2:

I think UF runs the table the rest of the year winning the SEC putting them in the Sugar or National Title.
Georgia loses at LSU and to Florida in consecutive weeks allowing us to jump them in the rankings:rock:

Before I get attacked for being to positive lol, the first guy picked us to run the table.

Nobody thinks we can beat UGA either.

Its a tough schedule but the worst we should do is 8-4, UCLA got a coach yet?

Either one is a possibility, but you asked for people's opinions on the subject. To me, your running game is going to be very much improved and your defense should be better. But -- and this is despite the letdown in the SECCG -- I do think that losing Ainge is going to hurt more than people realize.

You could be right, lg. Losing the ability to throw those 7 yard out patterns will definitely force us to do something different with our passing game.

(hmmmmmmmmmm)

go vols.

It's a bit early, too many variables; injuries, arrests, etc. Ya never know, but based on what we expect to have, we should really be a much improved team, and I dont see Fla being that far ahead of us exept at QB, and I dont see UGA or Aub being better than us. But who knows, i felt like we had a shot at winning all of this years games before the season started.

>>>> i don't understand why so many people are picking us to lose to auburn. they aren't that good.<<<<

Neither are we in 07...even with an experienced qb.

I'm basing my 6-6 prediction mainly on what I predict to be an inconsistant offense. I do not belive our running game will be able to totally sustain us without a vertical passing game. I've got a feeling Crompton is not going to be the long term soloution at QB. I believe Crompton will start the season but we will look closer at the younger guys after the Florida loss. Between what I believe will be a combination of inexperience at QB and being unsettled at that position, as the season progresses, will be the reason we struggle. I believe the offense will struggle in two areas, 3rd down conversions and big plays. These two items can become drive killers. This will cause us to lose several close games that could have gome either way. It will turn what might have been a 8-4 0r 9-3 season, that most here have predicted, into the 6-6 I'm looking at.

On the bright side, I am looking for continued improvement on the defensive side of the ball. The defense will allow us to stay in many of the games and keep them close.

they probably remember the last time we played them, down there, and the total physical beating and humiliation we suffered there. just a guess. :whistling:

One of the guys on WLAC thinks that Fla will be like '95 Nebraska good, as in no one will get within 20 points of them. He went on to say UT will be a good team next year, but Fla will be great thanks in part to the tramsfer coming from USC.

Whoever that was is either a Florida homer or an imbecile

I got us going around 10-2 if the qb is consistent (whoever it may be). Every year I look at about this kind of record because we will lose a game we are supposed to (ex. florida or georgia), and a game we should win (ex. bama sc or auburn).
