If we adjust fast to not having Lofton, which will be difficult, that could be enjoyable for us.

Does anyone know if we will be in any preseason tournaments this year? I know they had some 2 in 4 rule, or something like that, but I thought that might have expired.

The rule limiting appearances was gutted as part of the settlement of a class action lawsuit filed by tournament organizers. The only restriction I'm aware of now is that you can only play in the same event once every four years. I'm not sure if UT is scheduled to play in a tournament this year. I know they're not going to Maui, Anchorage, or Orlando. Last year's appearance in the NIT also eliminates that tournament as a possibility.

You can also scratch the Coaches v. Cancer and the College Basketball Experience from the lists of possible tournaments.

Hat, do you think the SEC will get involved in a conference challenge with one of the basketball power conferences anytime soon?
