2007 Tennessee vs. Kentucky

The blocked kick where Eric Berry nearly got head ripped off made me so mad. There were no consequences whatsoever for Kentucky on that play. Sure, the refs threw the flag, but because of the stupid rules, the penalty didn't go into effect. So basically, Kentucky could've gotten away with absolutely anything on that play. Then in the next overtime, Arian Foster got called for an unsportsmanlike penalty for throwing the football in frustration, and that penalty did go into effect in the next OT because it was a dead ball foul. So you can get away with nearly breaking someone's neck, but you're not allowed to show frustration.

Ahhhh, the days when were upset about the way we got to SEC Championship game... OT wins vs SC and KY, and only one point win vs Vandy, plus getting taken to the woodshed by FL and Bama.

Ainge did make some nice throws but how many different receivers made some great catches?

There were also a lot of dropped passes in that game. The game never should've gone to overtime. We had a couple of drives in the 4th quarter where our receivers were wide open on 3rd down, and dropped the ball. Austin Rogers must've had at least 15 drops that season. He was so frustrating to watch that year, because he was so good at getting open. Ainge often went to him, but he dropped the ball so much.

Right there with you on that one. I was pissed at the time.

I watched this game at my sisters house in Huntsville. I think it was thanksgiving weekend. Two of her neighbors were home brewers and I drank enough to float a boat that day. Great fun.
