Should have won that game. I was devastated afterwards.

this is the game that introduced tebow to the world. If tennessee wins, florida doesn't play for the national championship.

I remember sitting in the stands telling my brother in law what play UF was about to run and UT never had an answer.

At some point I lost the ability to care about the result of the UF game. It is to the point where I'm not sure how I will react if UT actually wins in the next decade.

Oddly enough, Tennessee would have then been the sec east representative had they won that game as well (assuming same rest of season play out)

No one here rants about the center on 1st down letting both those two LBs blitz by untouched for the sack on the drive down field for the gamewinning fg?

Why do you say that?

Every big play given up while he was there seemed to be when he got burned or could not make a tackle. Terrible tackler. That's what I remember from watching him play.

In close games with the Gaturds it always seems to come down to one or two critical plays. In the 2006 game, two plays stick out. 1) Ainge intentionally grounding the ball on that critical drive late and 2) the absolutely STUPID roughing the passer call when Mahelona (check sp) barely scraped Leak's helmet as we were intercepting a pass that was run back for a TD. THAT would in all likely-hood would have sealed the game for us.

Last year, it was that fake punt. I'm a Dooley supporter, but dudes, we got out coached in that instance.

I loved what coach Fulmer did in the 90's, but he routinely got out coached by FL (and others).

So true, so true. Man I was livid.
