Has there been a more difficult schedule than Tennessee's in 2005?

Disappointing year. We were top 5 to start and then had a QB controversy that wrecked the season.

There are 6 automatic wins against unranked lower tier teams. We lost two of them, both at home. The schedule wasn't the problem that year

Tennessee played 4 road games against top 10 teams but I agree A&M's schedule is probably more difficult

Doesnt count IMO, Jimbo deserved the pain before he was getting paid so much, now he earns the pain...

Dools, 5*, and Pruitt would say, relative to talent, all our schedules have been harder than this since 2010

I think Jimbo may start to realize just how good he had it in the ACC. The only team he had to compete with is Clemson. In the SEC there’s always going to be at least 3 top 10 teams on your schedule every year.
