2004 Tennessee and Georgia on CSS now

I remember how we had no shot whatsoever at winning this game. We just came off of a game against Auburn where we were slaughtered and UGA had just slaughtered LSU. All 4 teams were supposedly top 15. Then we dominated UGA. That clearly marked Auburn as the best in the SEC that year.

Manhandling Georgia later in the season also helped. I think the Dogs were shutout until they scored a meaningless TD late in the fourth.

Yes it was...still one of the most wicked hits I've ever seen in college football.

I don't remember that. Was the safety Junior Rosegreen? You might remember him from the UT-Auburn game when he caught more Vol passes than any of our receivers.

I know that hit wasn't illegal (at the time atleast) but that was such a cheap shot in my book.. looked like he was trying to break his neck purposely or something.. but that's football for ya.

Plus I never liked the attitude of that Auburn player.

Yeah I think Ainge single-handedly raised him 2-3 rounds in the draft... he ended up breaking quite a few records for INTs I think. Didn't take much skill to pick some of those passes off.
