and no. even though the erasing of that call would have made ut drive 15 yards further down the field with much less time, there would still be time on the clock when ut took over. so, would it have made it much harder for ut? yes. but there was still a chance, albeit a small one.

So do blown calls in the first quarter, or the second quarter or the third quarter of a game that ends at the wire also constitute a fraud? Or only when it happens to Florida at the end of a game where they can't man up and overcome it?

I was less than 100ft from the 'incident", I looked over at my friend and said, "thats home cookin, for the 3 previous calls that went against the VOLS", no doubt Hefney slapped Dallas but the whistle hadnt blown, if you listen real close you'll hear - It was a running play and WR must block, DBs must protect all the way through the play

I was in the nosebleeds up by the florida section (in the student section). Man did they clear out quickly after that one...

I'm sure there's highlights of the game somewhere. I always try and find highlights that show clips from both teams, although most of the time you can't get them.

Not that I as a Florida fan want anything to do with this game...

UF got most of the calls in that game. 1 15 yard penalty at the end didn't matter much. UT would have won anyway.

That wasn't Simon, that was Moore I think. I know he was from South Pitt and got drafted for the Dolphins.

I got incredible seats off ebay on the 45 yd. line... due to the hurricane that missed...for almost nothing!!
