About as good a chance as Jamal Lewis.

I doubt Jamal gets in, but he's in the top 10 of rushing, has a Super Bowl, second best season, and second best single game in history. I'd say he has a better shot than Big John.

Yeah, that's what I meant. Crompton showed us something against LSU when he was a RS frosh, too. His problems were mental. He had an offseason to work with the staff, but it took him a little more time than that. Both situations are pretty similar, and I'm not saying Cut did a better job than CLK has (impossible to compare with 2 different QB's). All I know is I like the result of both. Plus I think Ainge was worse in '05 than Crompton was in '08.

The big difference is that when UT went from Sanders back to Cutcliffe, Ainge didn't change offensive schemes. The plays, the terminology and the offensive scheme were unchanged. He just had a change in the playcaller. Crompton's transition from Clawson to Kiffin involved learning an entirely new offense.

No he isn't. He's 21st. He's also only made the Pro Bowl one season in his entire career. He had one phenomenal season, and then a couple other great games dispersed throughout his career. He won't sniff the Hall of Fame.

Actually, I think he's 16th now. I guess the top 10 was a projection if he played a couple more years.

No. He currently has 10,607 yards through this weekend. That makes him 21st, and trailing the following current players: LaDanian Tomlinson, Edgerrin James and Fred Taylor. Of the 4 of them, LT deserves the hall of fame. None of the other three do.

Ainge showed a lot more. Crompton had a couple good throws.

To Lewis' credit, he's never played for a high-powered offense, and he's never had a good QB. The pressure was always on Lewis to produce, or they didn't move the ball. This caused him to get less attention when he was having good seasons (unless he went for 2000).

He should have been a pro-bowler in 2007. He was robbed. 1552 yards, 11 TD's in 15 games. Willie Parker went with 1480 yards, 2 TD's. He had a better season than Fred Taylor and Joseph Addai who also went to the Pro Bowl.

Stallworth was faster than Washington. Kelley was superior in all other phases of the game. Donte redshirted then played three years and barely surpassed the stats that Washington put up in under a season and a half. The one year they played together (Kelley's first and Donte's fourth), Washington had more catches and more yards.

So. I didn't say I wanted Stallworth because he had better stats.

I said if I get to choose the All decade, I take Stallworth on my team.

You take Kelley and we are all happy.
