20 - 24 Freshman got in the game??

We're at roughly 65 scholarship players on the field right now. 17 of them are seniors. We can only bring in 25 (plus some potential backdating to previous years? not sure how that works).

Bottom line is we still won't have a full team next year.

Going to be a long, long, long road.

When was the last time we were in beast mode? 1998? It's been along time. I don't count the other failures along the way. Moral victories are overrated.

We better pick up some more WR's because I don't think Chaney knows how to run more than 1 out of every 7 plays.

From here on out just empty the bench...it's got to be better what we've seen and no worry about a bowl.

calling them freshman, although true, is almost like giving them too much credit.

20-24 guys who were playing high school football last year just lined it up against a top 10 NCAA Div-I program that won the national championship last year.

for me, it's frustrating to see the losses.
it's frustrating to see a decent half of football and then have the wheels come off.

but it is what it is.... so just have to live with it for now and move on.

Men vs Boys.... Men win. I hope all of these young players remember this for the next the 3 years and play with a nasty attitude. Payback can and should be hell....
