Well as you all know, the 3rd Saturday in October rivalry will be renewed 2 weeks from now. First, Bama has to take care of the pitiful Ole Miss Rebels. Then, your 3-2 vols come to Tuscaloosa for what promises to be a glorious weekend for Tide fans. Your team has shown that they simply have no offense, but considering Bama kept UF's "amazing" offense to just 3 points, it makes no difference how good or bad your offense is. Your defense is supposedly very stout, but then again UF's was supposed to be even better. 31 points and a Bama win later, their defense was left looking sub par. Now, we Tide fans know what it's like to lose a big impact player (Prothro), and I hated seeing Jason Allen go down because you never like to see a player get hurt...however, the rest of your secondary is average at best and I see Brodie having a field day against it. I don't really see UT even making this much of a game, my prediction is Bama 24 UT 7. The UF game was the loudest I've ever heard Bryant-Denny but it won't compare to the noise Clausen and company are going to have to try and deal with 2 weeks from now. Bama will move to 7-0 and your "national championship" contender will fall to 3-3. Enjoy the next 2 weeks because come October 22, the great pumpkin Fulmer and your orange clad excuse for an SEC contender are going to be embarssed, again, on national television. Roll Tide!

Hold on, bubba. No way Florida's defense is better than our's. Even with the loss of Allen, I still say we have one of if not the best D's in the SEC. We may be resembling you guys last year (Great defense, inept offense) but there is one major difference; We won't be losing on the 3rd Saturday in October.

No, you'll be losing on the 4th Saturday in October. UT's defense is good, I'll give you that. But Bama's is better. Bama has THE best defense in the SEC. It's a fact. Losing Allen is going to hurt you against Alabama, Brodie will be hooking up with Hall, Brown, and Caddell all day long. Bama's offense is far superior to UT's. Gerald Riggs might be the most overrated player in the conference. Face it, Bama is the better team and is going to win the game. My victory cigar is ready and waiting.

Well, well. Another Vanderbilt student posing as an Alabama fan. You don't fool us, Skippy. Very tricky!! Misspell only a few words on purpose to make us think you actually ARE a Bama fan. Well, I caught it!! I hope you don't want to grow up to be an undercover spy for the F.B.I. You're going to have to misspell more words than that to fool us!!!

It's very possible that bama will beat us. Anyone would have to be crazy to think any different at this moment in time. However, little Brodie is going to look very appetizing to our D line. Just think about it, we have been playing mobile QB's this whole year. Unless Brodie turns into a scrambling QB in the next 2 weeks, our line will get to him. We all know how he breaks like glass. They used to call him Mr. Glass. A pocket passer is going to have a tough time. So there is something to worry about. That's about the only thing that I'm sure of.

Good thing we have a week off eh? Always nice to have a week off before this game. Our team has nothing to play for except pride and a decent bowl, but if you think they're just going to roll over for bama, it's not going to happen. Sure, our offense and special teams suck but if there is one thing that's consistent, it's the fact that Fulmer owns you all.

You all have everything to lose in this in this game and we have nothing.

I will leave you with this....it's spelled EMBARRASS, anything else is just an ass.

Ahh...I remember being on the board this summer as a Bama fan. All I can do is laugh at the current situation. "Mr. Glass" has been doing pretty good.

I never said that he hasn't been doing "pretty good." I'm simply saying that he might get hit and might get hit often at that.

The tables have turned. In the past, teams were gunning for the Vols in every game because for many of them, the only thing that could salvage their season was to beat the mighty vols. Well, now we are in that position and nothing would salvage our season more so than to beat an undefeated Bama and ruin their little NC fantasy.

Get ready tide. The VOLS are coming and we aren't in a good mood.

Man if I'm shula just before they leave the lockeroom to take the field I look all the players in the eye, while they're all takin a knee and say...''We've prepared as good a gameplan as we can to win this game, and I think we will....but don't any one of you get the idea this Tennessee team isn't capable of winning this game. They're wounded, embarrassed, and dangerous. They still have a lot of talent and they're motivated to spoil us and take out their frustrations on us.DO NOT underestimate the player across from you!''

That's an understatement. You've got a preseason number 3 with the threat of falling to 3-3. Coaches (all but Chavis) on the hot seat. A QB who promised to "get it done" and has done anything but that. A RB who is dying for the ball and a game-breaking run. A defense that has carried the Vols thus far and shows no signs of giving up on that. A D-line that gets a push but has been unable to chase down these wiley scramblers. . . .but this week they'll be licking their chops at Ming Croyle.

Oh, and you are BAMA, and that's the worst of the 4-letter words 'round here. Don't think there isn't a one of us who wouldn't take 5 more losses for a win in Tuskerlooser.

Ok first of all, I'm not a Vandy fan. I am in fact a Bama fan. As for the idiots out there who keep saying this game is on the 3rd Saturday in October...October 1st, October 8th, October 15, OCTOBER 22nd is Bama vs. UT. Next, Brodie is injury prone but he's been hit plenty this year already and he's doing just fine. He's basically a robot at this point, he's been reconstructed so many times I don't think he can be broken again. Also, you haven't been playing mobile QB's all season. Darrell Hackney is awesome, but he's not a mobile QB. Chris Leak, also not a mobile QB. So that was a dumb statement. Brodie will poke holes in your undermanned secondary all day. By the way, don't worry about Prothro being out and not returning kicks for us anymore. On kickoffs, look for a little guy named Brandon Brooks wearing #5. He is fast, quick, and absolutely tiny. He will get lost in the crowd on kick returns and bust out of the pack for big gains. He returned one against Auburn two years ago for six, then Prothro took over. Now he's back and he's gonna do some more damage. 2 weeks until Bama brings the pain.

When they evade our defensive line pressure and make something happen, I consider that to be mobile. Hackney rolled out plenty and Leak ran the ball some on us. Then we had Russell, who couldn't do much of anything, Spurlock and Shockley.

To call that statement dumb shows your own stupidity.

I personally think that Tennessee might go down there and whoop some Crimson Tide butt. This week off might be the best thing for our team to get rested and regroup.

On the subject of dumb statements, I never said we have "been playing mobile QB's all season." The "wiley scramblers" I was referring to have been Spurlock and Shockley (the last 2 games). We did get to Leak, I believe 5 times? If you think ol' Ming can stand up to 5 shots of Big Orange, you're crazy.

Here's an idea: how about reading the posts you refer to before you embarrass yourself any further in front of your opposition's fans?
