I thought that was Callaway ?

Callaway is a WR all the way. It was announced some time back that it was announced Byrd will start his career at WR. Here's his tweet on 4/12......

I hope Shy can get healthy.. What a difference maker he would be with the rest of the DLine..

Whats the word on King Tut anyways? What's his injury time frame on hsis return to playing look like? Do you or anybody else know that answer to my question? Well I know somebody on here does, it's just a matter of who.

Late July is what I think Jones said.

This begs the question ... If Byrd is going to offense and wearing #15, then which number is Juan Jennings switching to? This may have already been discussed and I'm just late to the party.

Yeah, just a couple of days ago CBJ said late July (as EG said) that he would be "full speed". This is a change from the earlier prognosis of late June. But, that was made several months ago iirc, so maybe (?) everything is going well.

Especially with a great DC

My brother seems to think Shoop will only be here this year & then jump to a head coaching vacancy next year. I disagreed, but it is possible. LSU, maybe? That's the only job offer I see him leaving for (If there's even a vacancy).

Haven't heard anything definitive about which number Jennings will wear. Think someone said he may be switching to his highschool number, #2

I think he'd take just about any job in a Power 5 conference TBH (I know I probably would).

Doubt Sutton gets 5. Not because he's not good enough, but most QBs aren't gonna be stupid enough to throw it his way. He's a first round NFL prospect right now and is far and away our best CB. QBs will have much better chances for success throwing at the other CBs on the roster and they know that.
Totally agree. Cam won't get a lot of opportunities unless it is forced by pressure.

I honestly don't think Shoop is a splashy enough hire for them. Not that he isn't capable, but if LSU gets rid of Miles, I'd expect them to try to bring a big name in to replace him.

And I don't think he (Shoop) would take a chance on the West End. Not unless he thought he could flip it into a better job like Franklin did. Which would be extremely hard to do right now.
