6. Cameron Sutton, Tennessee: One of the SEC's top cover corners last year, Sutton passed up being a possible early-round draft pick to play for the Vols one last season. Though Sutton had just one interception and broke up six passes, he's excellent in one-on-one situations and takes an entire side of the field away.

9. Todd Kelly Jr., Tennessee: Mostly a reserve last year for the Vols, Kelly still notched three interceptions in 2015. New defensive coordinator Bob Shoop was very pleased with Kelly this spring, and the athletic safety, who can play sideline to sideline, will have an even bigger role in this defense in 2016.

We should have a lot of picks this year with the talent both upfront and in the backend..

Shoops scheme will create more opportunities...

I feel tk jr doesn't get enough props. Good for him

Not really surprising. He was a backup last year. If his limited action production is an indication of what his fulltime production will be then the props will come.

Doubt Sutton gets 5. Not because he's not good enough, but most QBs aren't gonna be stupid enough to throw it his way. He's a first round NFL prospect right now and is far and away our best CB. QBs will have much better chances for success throwing at the other CBs on the roster and they know that.

No doubt that Sutton is our best, most technically/fundamentally sound corner...however, Justin Martin, a bigger, longer, arguably more athletic corner is on the opposite side....may wind up forcing some qbs to make some throws toward Cam that they wouldn't otherwise.

Agree. And presumably more DL and blitzing pressure under Shoop will force more hurried, errant throws.

Bryd should be playing CB lock down stud in the all American game he looked amazing for butch to move him to offense he must be a nightmare to defend in the slot with his speed one of my favorite signee from 2016 class
Also marq Osborne must be in line to start if Justin Martin doesn't seize the opportunities thrown his way
