It's almost like Forrest Gump. Bumbling your way along, idiotically lucking into success.

I learned that I still love seeing Tennessee beat Steve Spurrier

:)

Just keep winning. Glad to see the fans "reward" the team with cheers. I think the freshmen need it. They still can improve a great deal over the next month.

2 things.

1. We got a reliable kicker for the next 4 years (including this year).

2. This team can't compete, Keep Mike Hamilton in your prayer and pray for the clean house.

1- Chavis can't coach
2- We are still in the SEC playoff race- hmmm amazing.

Going along with your point #2 - I can see TN winning out the regular season, going to the SEC Championship game and losing to someone like LSU, and then probably losing their bowl game to end up yet again, in the 9-4 or 8-5 range.
To top it all off- Mike Hamilton will probably (seeing that TN made it to the championship game) not force anything to happen to anyone on the coaching staff. I believe we will be sitting here with all of the coaches back next year including Chavis if this scenario unfolds.

Enjoy it....It may never happen again. South Carolina is on the way up, while your Vols are headed down....I think that was obvious tonight.

You cock fans say that every year... Who's beat Spurrier two years in a row?

I think it's obvious your opinion is delusional. How about that?

If football was measured in moral victories . . . SC would win the national championship every year.

This sounds really familiar. When did I hear this last? Oh, yeah, that was last year.

2 straight losses to mediocre UT teams and USCe is on the way up? Spurrier is probably breaking things right about now.

Yea, it was obvious. Oh, who won? We did. Guess what? Blake Mitchell is gone after this year. Looks like greener pastures are surely ahead for SC.

Yeah, that loss to Vanderbilt really confirms your rapid assent.

You know, except for that year when they decided to reenact a scene from Braveheart onfield with Clemson.

Nothing like back to back losses to herald in the emerging South Carolina dynasty...

Back to the thread title I think we learned after tonight that we beat Spurrier!!! which is always a good thing...and we are not a very good football team...we are competitive, talented and well..... average....but not at the that level where you can say UT will win this one tonight easily....either way great win, always good to gain a game in the SEC....You guys have a good night, enjoy the win and I will chat back at ya monday...

Rock On Rocky Top!!!

Wheres VOLS423 tonight I wonder????? He was running his man pleaser the other night about UT not having a chance, would like to hear his excuse now....

Maybe they'd have better luck if they just dropped the whole state of Tennessee from their schedule.
Good point. Somebody needs to come up with a Spurrieresque saying regarding losing to the state of Tennessee to equal his world famous comment regarding "you can't spell Citrus without UT".
