... Well damn.

Durant (final shot aside) and Westbrick didn't even play *that* great of a game, but the only thing giving me hope is that Nowitzki didn't really, either.

Sweet game #1 win, must be the Dallas colors...

Westbrook 28 pts shot 57% Great game!
Durant 25 pts shot 37% 4 blocks...game winner!

Series looks like it will live up to its hype

I think they'll make an adjustment for Westbrick he had a lot of room on those mid range jumpers. And Marion does a great job on KD. It'll be a good series.

That was unbelievable defense and KD is the luckiest bastard. True he has the length to get the shot off, but it was a total prayer. He doesn't practice that shot. He just put it up soft enough.

Give the best scorer in the NBA some credit.

That.

I hate to admit it because I hate the Thunder, but I've held the position that Durant has been the single best offensive player in the NBA the last few seasons.

Luckiest bastard?

No, he is just better than anyone else in the NBA at putting the ball in the hoop.

He also has no fear of taking the last shot, dude is cold-blooded.

Doesn't change the fact that there was an enormous element of luck to making that shot. He's the best guy to get that shot off, but that doesn't change the fact that he probably only makes it 1/5 times.

Marion was giving him fits all night. That was one of the worst shots he took all night. He made that one, and missed all the others.

If Scott Brooks can reel in Westbrook and get him to buy into letting Durant be the "guy" on the team, they will be better because of it.

HIs offensive skill set is amazing, he can score in any way imaginable.

I just don't know if that can happen. On the court, it seems like Westbrook has an ego the size of tornado alley

According to my Facebook news feed all my friends who celebrated the Mavs Championship last year have adopted the Thunder for this years playoffs. For some reason that bothers me.

I would lament about how many NBA followers are bandwagoners, but I've been in a crisis of fanship over the last year. I love the Blazers, but Paul Allen is the worst kind of owner there is in sports.

I just have a hard time understanding why a bunch of people from Dallas would celebrate their championship and then root against them the next year.

Ever since it became apparent the Blazers weren't making the playoffs this season, I looked on fb and noticed a lot fewer Portland fans and a lot more Heat/OKC/Chicago fans.

Again, I know I'm in a glass house on this one, but my issues have been with Allen.
