It's funny how outsiders think Hunter is awesome and the Vol fans do not. He is very good. Just needs to catch the ball when open and stop being so afraid of getting hit when going over the middle. Needs another year. NFL DB's would chew him up and spit him out onto the bench. Too afraid of McCullers to say anything wrong

That's because many in sports media don't actually follow these players game by game, they simply regurgitate whatever they've heard or read from other sports media.

True statement about the media. We as VOL fans have suffered through hunter's drops. I am sure he will tear up the rest of the teams on the schedule and develop a false sense of confidence. Hope he stays

Eh, as good an athlete as JH is I don't think there's a DB in the country that wouldn't prefer facing him in the open field as opposed to CP.

Every time I see that picture I think of the word Photoshop. That picture makes McCullers 10ft. tall..haha.

Maybe. But perspective is everything. I sat in my husband's lap for a pic last Christmas and I look twice his size cause I'm closer to the camera.

"Forced perspective" is the name of that effect. It's more pronounced in wide angle lenses due to short focal length.

(also: side note - that is how some scenes were shot for the Hobbits in The Lord Of The Rings)

You guys just don't know hard it is for someone to get over a torn ACL.The thought of it stays in your head long after rehab is done.

Seems to me Hunter hasn't gotten over injury mentally. He is not playing as fast as he did against Cincy last year and is scared of contact.

"...but his sheer size and mere presecen on the filed is enough..."

Nice editing. I get what they are saying but, c'mon, how about a spell check or proofread?

Scary? Maybe to some. Not a lot of teams are scared however.

JH is too soft after his injury and is now dropping the ball right and left. McC is also a bit soft in the middle for such a large player and is showing his prior experience was just junior college. With a year of defensive line play experience and the weight room under his belt, I think he will bloom nicely next year. But the defense's performance against the run this year has to be considered below average. And we are just about last in the NCAA for sacking the QB.
