Pep Hamilton - there is a solid reasoning behind some of these current recruits. Look for more Michigan recruits leaving or Michigan flipping. That means staff is leaving and coming.

Skip Peete - current RB coach for rams. Worked with Weinke and Lilly. So there is solid connection.

Alabama has proven that if you want to be a NFL coach or offensive coordinator and “have got passed up” for whatever.. you succeed as an OC in college at a SEC college, you WILL be looked at.

Are you suggesting an active coach on the Michigan staff is telling recruits he is going to Tennessee and the recruits are flipping to Tennessee and this coach is still actually employed by Michigan?

Looks like Hamilton lost both prior OC jobs when the offense tanked his final season. Major job hopper too. If we are getting a 1-2 and done, make it count. Make it Briles if that's the case.

Other guy hasn't called a play in his life, nor has recruited. No thanks.

If the names make sense it means Tennessee has no interest in them.

The OC will be a hire from within promotion that will be a morning post coffee splash hire.

Hopefully, with the Bama AD gone from the UT, the admin. doesn't muck up this hire.

I like that Pruitt has concentrated on recruiting, with the addition of Wright we should match up with or excell over everyone in the SEC, with the exception of Bama and Georgia......that's the way I see it anyway
Go Vols

This is turning out to be a very good class in all respects (especially with Wright)

Maybe Coach P had to show how successful the Vols would be at recruiting for 2019 to push an OC candidate into saying "YES"??? In other words what else am I (OC) going to have to work with???????????????

You had to recruit players to recruit an OC. Not hire an OC first then recruit players. Why would an OC want to come to a team ranked 110 in 2018????

Was talking OC. Want to get the hire done right, early or late, just done right. Not usual mucking up The UT has done time after time.

Why is everyone so high on Sark?

If he failed in Atlanta with the Falcons then would that failure carry over?

Can he recruit really well?

Does he even want to put in all the work recruiting after the NFL?

I don't know enough specifics about Sark one way or the other and that's why I'm asking for more info here?

VFL...GBO!!!

Could the OC be calling plays in college and be done in about 2 weeks? I would not limit this to a NFL guy

The new OC will come shortly after the NFL fires all their head coaches and coordinators. I think Sark is a real possibility for Tennessee.

Sark would be a horrible hire. Last time he had any real responsibility at the college level, he was suspended due to his battles with alcoholism. I'd be very disappointed in Pruitt if he has any intention to even interview Sark.
