2 more out the door: Rumor

me, my brother in law and sister all work at Global 500 companies and have never had a random one. They are becoming rare (and rightly so)

Having worked in large and small companies and having negotiated union/non-union benefits, etc., I can say that many companies do not have madatory drug testing. I think the vast majority do test on the initial hire, but many do not perform tests on employees during their employment.

I don't think so Tim...

"Currently, 67 percent of the nation's largest companies test their employees or applicants for drugs, according to a 2001 survey by the American Management Association. And though the percentage of companies that test is down from its peak—81 percent in 1996—the industry seems poised for moderate growth. Most state and federal jobs require regular drug screening, and with the consolidation of commercial labs moving along steadily, profits have risen."

So maybe NOT ALL, but I don't like the odds....
