These dudes are playing basketball. Jr Smith can't wait for this game to be over so he can hit on high school kids.

So having a 7 footer take your damn head off is basketball?

After the first five times you would think he would figure out he's not going to get those calls. Only a moron continues banging his head against that wall and doesn't try to adapt.

Barely halfway through game 1 and Carmelo is already visibly frustrated by Indiana's physicality. It'll be interesting to see if Stern instructs the refs to crack down on that in an effort to benefit the big market team. We should know within the first few minutes if Game 2.

He better get used to it. He's going to have Paul George and David West draped all over him and both guys bring it on every possession.

He may not get that many assists in the entire series

I'm telling you, look for Stern to get a crew out there in Game 2 that will curb that physical style of play. I would bet almost anything that one or more Pacer starters are on the bench with two fouls in the first 5 minutes on Tuesday night.

I'd bet against it.

I hate watching him play. He's physically gifted but takes the worst shots. I don't understand why he doesn't attack the basket more. Or pass it occasionally.

Um if he passes it, he cant score the bucket.

The natives are starting to get restless at The Garden.

They're getting their asses handed to them right now. Good thing for the Knicks that they can erase this lead in just a matter of a few possessions. They're capable of knocking down multiple 3's in consecutive possessions. They got to man up on defense though.

I'd bet against it.

Indy bouncing NY in the second round would be decidedly bad for the NBA's ratings, so I would think they certainly wouldn't want them going home with a 2-0 lead. There have been pretty clear cases if the NBA's refs affecting the outcome if series in favor if the big market in the past. As a Pacers fan, I hope to god this doesn't happen, but I've watched the NBA for long enough that I'm not going to act surprised if it does.
