#2 Knicks vs. #3 Pacers

I think George is going to decide this series.......I'm hoping he plays poorly:)

I disagree. As Carmelo goes, so goes this series. If he can avoid laying 4 eggs similar to his shooting perfomances in games 4 and 5 against Boston, the Knicks should move on. As much as I hate to say it, I think it's going to be Knicks in 6.

I suggest that you people watch the espn 30 for 30 "Winning Time". It's good!

You get a like, you get a like, you are gonna give me a like, everybody gets a like!

You have to watch the video to get it. lol

And yes, my favorite 30 for 30 :)

Reggie was cold blooded man. It sucked when Ray Allen started passing him in some of those categories 3 point categories but he never carried a team like Reggie. Damn Bulls and Knicks being in the way... and Knicks fans feel the same way I'm sure about the Bulls and Pacers lol. Now it's all about the Steph Curry. Dude is insane.

I've seen it many times and was on suicide watch when Reggie was going off in that series

lol

I know the feeling somewhat. My team didn't blow a game like that they should have won but watching Dyson come up 1 yard short to lose the Super Bowl was really heart breaking. Losing a playoff game and series in that fashion is in the same realm. It's just like wow, so close... wtf just happened.

Edit: Actually, a better comparison might be the Oilers blowing a 35 point half time lead to the Bills and the Bills taking the lead in the final seconds only to have the Titans returning the Music City Miracle. That's more along the lines of what happened with Reggie and the Knicks.

And actually, does anyone remember the Duke and Maryland game?

If I recall correctly, Maryland was up by like 4 points and the game was over. Duke only had time for one shot so there was no way they could win the game. A Maryland player fouls Jay Williams as he buries a 3 and Duke ends up pulling out the win. lol

Edit: Well, I can't find the the clip or game where that happened. I'm like 99% sure it did lol. I found the Miracle Minute though.

Don't worry, you guys got even with that damn '99 Eastern Conference Finals series. After the Knicks upset the Heat in the first round, it felt like a trip to the Finals was all but in the bag. Larry Johnson's 4 point play (and a couple other BS shots, IIRC) in Game 3 was about as angry as I've ever been watching a basketball game. I still can't believe the Knicks made it all the way to the Finals as a #8 seed.

Peeled, cleaned, boiled potatoes + eggs and left em in the fridge over night to make potato salad for my mom. Just cut up the potatoes and eggs but still need to add the miracle whip, sugar and all that good stuff. My grandma always made it for my mom and she loves potato salad. Also just cleaned and seasoned some leg quarters which I'm about to bread and fry for the fam.

Chicken, potato salad and beer while watching the game with my mommy haha. Now all I need is a Pacers win :p

Man, ChubToad Raymond Felton is getting all of his shots to just fall. They go in and out of the rim and back down. Crazy.

And sick dunk by the Pacers as ESPN2 cut off as it happened. Haha

Sorry about your Grizz man. That was a tough a loss. I was thinking Grizz win in regulation or overtime. :/

Yeah, it was a bummer. We will be back though. Just gotta make adjustments.

That has to be one of the worst two minute stretches ever. Sam Young would be firmly on the bench for the rest of the game.

Hibbert is definitely getting away with some fouls on those blocks. I'm not complaining but I can see they look like fouls.

And I agree with you guys.

Sam Young is a bum.

Doesn't play like all playoffs and barely ever plays. Just as bad is Gerald Green's chucking. He can get hot but he's like Carmelo Anthony while bricking instead of making shots. He's never met a shot he doesn't like and never passes. At least Carmelo can score. That leaves Orlando Johnson who should play. He's an older rookie so he's learning the ropes but he only shoots good looks and is willing to be a team player. He goes for rebounds and steals. He should be out there, not Sam Young. Disgusting lol

Only one I thought was obvious was on smith......came across the body and nearly took his arm off.......as long as they are consistent, I don't have a problem with them calling it like that even though it plays in favor of the stronger Indy players

You're the man.

I thought I saw multiple hacks across the wrist/arm and not the ball. I know hands are supposed to count as the ball or something? But I don't know, they looked like fouls to me. The refs letting them play physical definitely benefits the Pacers but the Knicks still have Carmelo. And JR Smith. And apparently Raymond Felton lol.

And Kenyon Martin... where did that dude come from? Rebounds and blocks, fine. But he's been good offensively seemingly out of nowhere haha

Barely halfway through game 1 and Carmelo is already visibly frustrated by Indiana's physicality. It'll be interesting to see if Stern instructs the refs to crack down on that in an effort to benefit the big market team. We should know within the first few minutes if Game 2.
