Those were two exciting games to watch. I do not think we should have been in the situation with Georgia. Without the safety missing his assignment Ridley would never have caught that pass which in turn made Dobbs have to throw the Hail Marry.

Really? I thought we were the team that lost 6 fumbles, so pretty sure dem funky bounces weren't breaking our way.

I liked your post, but also, I think the article was referring to the punch-out touchback.

Yeah, I can see that, and you are probably right, but I would still disagree with the author because I don't think Foreman's outstanding play should be considered UT benefitting from a 'funky bounce'.

Yea turnovers absolutely killed us, especially all the ones in A'M territory..they did help us with the fumble into the end zone that cost them a TD but overall turnovers cost us that game. Very uncharacteristic of the fumbles Kamara and Kelly had. But unfortunately turnovers and penalties happened way too often by us this yr.

Take away all the turnovers and we easily beat aTm by at least 2 TD's.

The UGa Hail Mary was a sweet way to stomp the bullFrawgs with their own hobnail boot.

The FACT is that we would NOT have needed that Hail Mary if Hurd had NOT been showboating going into the endzone and getting the ball knocked out of his hand.

That 1 showboating play right there was the beginning of the end for the prima donna and lots of turmoil for the Team unfortunately.

That also put buTch in a VERY bad situation because he had to handle Hurd with kid gloves in order not to turn a bunch of Hurds friends against him and make matters worse.

buTch had to wait until Hurd made things worse and the players wanted Hurd gone forever.

Dobbs manned up and admitted the loss to USCe was all his fault and I have huge respect for Dobbs admitting exactly what happened.

The Hurd fiasco took lots of wind out of our sails though and was probably part of the loss to the commode doors.

Total BS caused us to lose 3 games we should have easily Won unfortunately because Hurd wasn't allowed to even travel to aTm and that had to be a serious loss of focus for our players and turnovers are mostly either a loss of focus or just plain luck by the D.

All of us can remember a loss from every year we thought we should have won like at alaBubba at their house 2 years ago but all of that is in the past where we need to let it lie.

It's time to support our Team and look forward to a great season coming up.

The turnover on the last play was a complete joke - no way A&M should allow that to happen. Williams eased up and didn't secure the football right before crossing the goal line. Total fluke. Kicker flat out shanked a very makeable kick in regulation to win, and it shouldn't have even come down to that.

When you have 7 turnovers and allow over 7 ypc to your opponent, you have absolutely no business winning. Period. That was a disgraceful performance in a lot of ways that gets overshadowed because it was such an exciting game.
