I couldn't see Blackburn doing it. He's basically taking a lesser position to someone with no one experience running an athletic department. If anything Blackburn should be AD with Fulmer fulfilling some role to help him.
Fulmer turns 67 in September 2017. Does UT require
mandatory retirement at 70 ? if he does retire at 70,
why spend all this time and money for 3 year AD. Tennessee needs AD who will be long term like Doug

Rarely have I ever said this but thread is definitely a candidate for "merge".
Opened the thread because I thought you had read a comment or something op.
But you just took a shot at Fulmer and endorsed Blackburn?
That's fine, I don't care. But why couldn't you have just said that in one of the other 2 or 3 Fulmer/ Blackburn threads?
