Left off Tuttle because I don't see him playing in game one or 2. And I see Chandler being eased into playing time, CFA in a similar role as Kamara in 2015

If CFA is going to get #2 carriers, I sure hope he has gotten a lot stronger. I'm hoping Chandler lives up to his billing and takes that spot. Offensive line will need to live up to it's age and experience to help break in a new QB and a new group of WRs (with exception of Jennings). Need a deep threat at WR and need Kelly or Chandler to be able to break more long runs out of the backfield.

The lack of depth and experience on the defensive line and at LB is very scary, especially with the injury prone players that are being counted on there. If everyone is healthy up front, the defensive backfield will be the biggest Achille's heel for this team. That is not a strong group of DBs.

WR- Latrell Williams #2 WR rather than George imo

MLB- Bituli locks it down and DKJr slides to OLB.

I see the starting OL a bit different. A healthy Thomas will be difficult to keep off the field.

LT: Richmond. Kendrick
LG: Robertson. Boulware
C: Thomas. Robertson
RG: Smith. Jones
RT: Hall. Kendrick/Tatum

Dormady will be the starting QB.

I wouldn't eliminate Smith as a starting WR. When healthy, he has earned the spot. I agree with KBVoL that Williams will be the #2 behind Jennings. The younger WRs will take George's snaps.

Don't count out Moseley at CB and Abernathy at safety. There are lots of reasons they have been the starter when healthy.

if martin is actually getting his head on straight, and performing up to ability, there should be no reason to see Mosely ahead of him or Wiggins.

same with Abernathy. between TK and NW....i would think that should be as solid a starting two at Safety as you could want.

why is bituli better at MLB in your mind? i like both these guys, but if i had to pick one for MLB, i'd go with DK....dude can run that defense from that spot...bituli could back him up, and can play outside, i think he's more athletic. could be wrong. but for some reason i can't get my head around moving DK outside....

3 freshmen that will be in the 2 deep by mid-season, Murphy at one of the WR spots, Chandler at RB, Butler at DE or possibly even DT. Oh yeah, Trey Smith too, but I figured that went without saying

Agree on Chandler.

Could buy the rest as well.

he will go with the pocket passer until proven wrong. if we have problems running the ball or protection he will bring in the running QB. you have the rest of it correct.

Latrell Williams is a 2 deep WR, maybe a starter.

Without jumping into this... it is really nice that we could even have a debate over who starts on the OL.

Probably the weakness at the SLB. Who would you put there?

It has been a long time, hasn't it. Finally beginning to build some depth.

Honestly, I can't remember in the last 25+ years when you could realistically debate all 5 positions and have at least two strong arguments at each position. I just hope they choose the right 7 or so guys... and that they are as good as expected.

One thing for sure. If you have a starting rotation job... you better play well or you won't keep it.

no idea. the LB spot has several names....i'm not sure we have any real answers except at MLB, and we have three guys that can play it....1 of which we hope never sees the field.....

one of the other two we want to play outside, be it bituli or dk...

lb is still a concern imo. i know sapp and mcdowell will figure in....which one is better at which side, should they both be on the same side backing each other up....eh, no clue.

i really want someone to sell me on DK moving outside....or bituli....:eek:lol:

They've had almost two years to develop a Spur. Hopefully out of a long list of wannabes... they'll find someone.

Any chance Berry makes noise or Bates finally gets it all together?

Adding Tuttle to that Dline rotation.

I dont care what anyone says, OLINE AND DLINE ARE STACKED!!!!!!

ADD this year's recruiting class and we got something special brewing for the next decade!

i don't think either one becomes a significant contributor.

it'd be great if they could though....but right now i don't see it.

The reasons people want to see it are these:

1. In a nickel look, the MLB and WLB basically have the same responsibilities, so it shouldn't be much of an adjustment for Kirkland.

2. Many believe Kirkland and Bituli to be our two LBs with the most upside and think it would be a waste for one or the other to lose snaps to a less talente LB at another spot.

IDK if it would actually be a good move or not, but I'd at least like to see a bit of it.

Think there's any chance that Ignont gets in the rotation, or will he end up being redshirted?
