Try the Phi Sigma Kappa Fraternity house adjacent to the field. Just tell them you want to pledge money to their house cuz your son was a Phi Sig. Free BEER!

Have some cash in your pocket and you'll be good. A number of tents have "free" beer with a tip jar.
Or walk by any tailgate and ask if you can get a couple of beers for $5.
They'll appreciate the offer and probably just give you a couple.

2nd is be friendly.

More often than not, good people will share beer and food freely with fellow Vols.

You're pretty much in the center of campus at that location so your options are limited. There's the Truly's Tailgate located at Gate 9 of Neyland which opens about 4 hours before kickoff. There's also the Vol Village which setups next to McClung Towet and has food but not certain you can get beer there. Calhoun's on the River is more of a walk but they have a full bar.

I didn’t see beer there for GA game. Al Wilson was there marketing his new beverage and taking pics w the fans who wanted to wait in line.

Arkansas will be my first game too. I hear commercials about Calhoun on the Tennessee radio station and podcasts. I have no idea why, but I thought it was on the other side of the river from the campus and stadium.
