When I moved back to Knoxville I tuned into Doc, Jeff, and Heather one time for about five minutes. Blood started gushing out of my ears immediately. I can't afford blood transfusions on the daily so I've listened to NPR in the mornings, ever since. If they replaced the whole crew with Roger and had him read month old sports pages I think it would be an improvement.

I listen to Sports 180 fairly regularly. One of them, usually Josh, tends to overreact to things and the other takes the no big deal approach. Usually one of them gets close to sharing my opinion and for some reason that makes me like it more. They play well off each other and they seem like pretty cool guys. Neither of them really knows anything about football, and they're not usually funny but I don't really listen for that.

Wilkerson is alright, but I really don't like Hyams. He shows up his guests, is condescending to anyone who disagrees with him, and ****s on the players too much. Sometimes I'll listen for the rundown of the stories but once they start taking calls I switch it back to NPR or plug in my iphone.

I might give 1180 a listen. I follow Swain on twitter and he seems like he would be great to listen to.

Idk which one, but one of the guys call in sounding like he is on his deathbed. He has a raspy voice and just keeps talking like this is his last phone call ever and he wants to give all his worldly possessions, pack of smokes, a phone, and a radio, to john and jimmy. Real depressing.

Then out of the mikes. One is a bipolar caller that used to just bash fulmer. One calls in thinking he is being interviewed by john and jimmy and will talk for atleast 15 minutes. Small mike... blah..... And 2 other mikes.

I agree one of the jims calls in and is like jimmy's best buddy. He asks jimmy these really staged questions that they seemed to have planned out the night before.

If nothing else, listening to the show will make you feel better about your life.

"Hey John, Hey Jimmy, I was thinking the other day, who is your favorite left handed catcher of the 1980s? Mine was Darrell Porter. He could really hit the ball! Do you know where he ranks all time among batters?"

There's another one, it might be one of the Mikes that calls in a little less frequently but he seems to think Jimmy Cheek is a secret agent sent by the University of Florida to torpedo our football program.

He gets really belligerent over the most inane stuff. One time he went off on Will for saying John Gruden wasn't coming here. Said it was irresponsible of Will to say that because he didn't have any info.

Hahaha, dude, it's sports talk radio...

Listening to Sports Talk Radio in Knoxville is a lot like a trip to Dollywood. Both make you feel a whole lot better about yourself and your family.

Why is it on repeat? I just got the app the other day, I could tell it was old based on some comments.

Ainge is at his sister's wedding, in Oregon. He'll be back next week.

I've been extremely impressed with his show. It's quickly become my favorite sports show in Knoxville.

I listened to the sports animal for the past 2 years; finally got fed up by all the negativity hyams sheds on the program, especially against our own players, and found TSR...wow, I must have had myself under some sort of self-punishment continuing to listen to sports animal for two years. Rucker, Ainge, Swain, Basillio...what a great change! Go TSR!!

I use to listen to TSR all day at work but I got a new job and I am blocked now. Has Basillio let "Cattleman" start calling in again?

haha. they were talking about him this morning. says cattleman won't call in anymore to TSR because he gets challenged too much. another caller today says he started calling the other guys.
