1st time listener to Sports Animal! Ugh!!!!

I live in N. Alabama and started listening to to "the Animal" via iPhone app for the first time this week. I gotta say, I am shocked at how bad the Hyams and Wilkerson show is!! The quality of the show is just terrible. They let callers go on and on about some of the dumbest stuff and say the same things over and over!! Twice within about 15 min loud squeeling feedback came through the speakers to which Hyams just said "oops"! And on top of all that, it's embarrassing how much they "talk down" about Dooley and the football team!! Please tell me there is a better show to listen to for Vol Football!!

Not really; however, if you listen to the sports animal enough you will get to know the inner makings and personal lives of all 5 callers.

Anything on AM 1180 is better. Specifically, tony basilio show from 11-1 daily.

Doc, Jeff, and Heather may be the WORST radio that I've ever heard. Even worse than when 98.7 changed to a hip hop format (years ago) and everyone thought it was pirated radio broadcasting from the Smoky Mnts. Played "Wild Thing" by Tone Loc for like 3 days straight lol..

haha! I remember that. That's when I was in school at UT. They even had a story in the beacon about it.

Really though, the animal is complete garbage. You have to listen to Eric Ainge is the morning on Tennsportsradio, it is awesome.

I stopped listening to sports animal about a month ago after fat boy Pennington was mocking dooley, he sounded like a 4 year old that got his toy stolen. All the other people on the show were just cracking up laughing and it was sooo stupid.

I wish TSR would get an FM frequency but its not too bad on the am.

Heather actually defended Tyler's bonehead move. It's one thing to blow it off as silly. It's another to say everybody does it, blah, blah. I guess so Heather, just like that DUI you got recently. We all get them. You are a nobody unless you get drunk, throw beer bottles at cars, drive drunk like you, etc., etc. Worst radio show in the history of sports radio. It's such a trainwreck I turned it on after Tylergate to see if they would do exactly what I expected - be idiots. They did not disappoint.
