I need to accept the fact that JPW is a GOOD quarterback??? Are you serious? For this season his QB rating is a robust 75.7....and he has thrown the mighty sum of 8 touchdowns and 5 interceptions. Yep you got me.....thats heisman trophy numbers if I have ever seen them.

I thought it was Creer and I agree that it was a questionable decision.

Foster is a lazy runner..that's my knock on him. He can bust off 20 but he looks like he runs in 3rd or 4th gear all the time. Kick it into 5th man and let it go!

Other thought......on 3rd and really short I don't recall the last time I saw a quarterback sneak get stopped.

I'm just not a fan of handing off the ball on really short yardage. With a sneak you have one exchange and you either go forward or you get stopped.

With a hand off you have two exchanges and you move backwards before you ever go forward thus giving yourself too many options for fumbling, lost yardage, and/or allowing the defense to make a play in the backfield.

QB sneak and if you can't make it doing that you don't deserve it.

Our D couldn't stop a fat woman in a skinny door. DJ Hall.....please do your homework Chavis and realize this guy can make you look stupid.

Foster is LAZY? Are you kidding me? The kid had 50 yards before the second quarter was half over! The problem there is not getting him the ball MORE.

My .02...Tennessee couldn't play much worse on D, and I don't think Bama can play much better on O. That said, being down 7 at the half is not too bad. D is obviously going to have to make some adjustments and pick up the intensity, but I think UT is still in a good position to win.

No front seven pressure, no one covering DJ Hall, bad officiating, and who the hell puts in a freshman over a hot Foster on 3rd and 1?

Statistically, he is. Had he not spent half his career under the guidance of Shula, he'd be doing much better.
comparing numbers from a QB today with those from years ago MIGHT be apples and oranges. Wilson is not a good QB, as his 11-9 record over his last 20 would attest. That record has been piled up with a decent defense and some good wide receivers. Having Shula certainly hurt, but he hasn't set it on fire this year either.

John Parker Wilson played behind one of the worst Bama O-lines ever.

Said he was a lazy runner not a lazy person. I'm talking about his style of running. I don't care if he does have 50 yards in the first half. He could have a 100 if he'd stop all that half stepping crap he does. Don't get me wrong...he's a solid back but he could be contending for the Heisman if he'd stop all that mess instead I think I heard the announcers say he was 5th ( or 9th ) in the SEC in rushing. That's not exactly killing it.

I can tell you this. If we can't beat a Bama team that had to suspend 2 or 3 starters before the game then that speaks volumes.

We ought to be attacking and abusing these replacements for Bama.

( Boy did we just dodge a bullet with the fumble! )
