Southern Miss knew we would run on 1st down. Tim Priest said we were only averaging a couple of yards. Larry, take a shot. It's November. Even with a freshman QB, let him take a shot. SMH on first down.

Our whole offense is predictable. If the RB is on the QB's left, we are running to the right. If the RB is is on the QB's right, we are running left. Every D coord. must be salivating to play us.

Gotta be fair though, I know it’s predictable, but when we ran it up the gut on first down on the 20th possession, that one threw me off a bit. 😜

If you notice when we run a play that goes against our conservative nature it has promise.

One of the problems is when we get aggressive how many times was there a break down in execution.

I know, I know, don't blame the players. Think how hard it is to set up a "splash" play just to see poor execution that makes it a bust.

Agree completely. We might as well just give us three down possessions just to speed the game along.

Butch doesn’t know how to manage an offense.

I’ll be so glad when we hire a HC that does.

This ain't canada.

Anything we get on 1st down is gravy. As long as we don't get behind the chains. We were a good 3rd down team last year. Poor 4th down. Now we are poor at both.

Bring on LSU.

Pretty crappy on first and second downs too
