NO. the guy was down, but the fact that this game came down to that call in the first place was ridiculous. that year, that TN team had the potential, talent wise, to do anything they wanted.

imho, we lost that game due to a very stubborn gameplan.

Oh God that game still makes me SICK. Only twice in my life have I almost cried over a Vol loss and that was one of them.

The 2001 SEC Championship game was the other.

I was their too, and those Memphis fans were the most rude and vile fans I've ever saw. They were throwing beer, cursing, and spitting at us on the way out of the Liberty Bowl. They were truly classless.

Even Cocks and Bammers dont act like that after a game.
