This is why basketball recruiting sucks...it is so fluid. The opportunity for these kids to perform in so many settings during the summer can transform their list of suitors overnight.

Really hope we stick with Mann. I just hate seeing these kids pine for the offer from Duke, UK, UNC, Kansas, etc. I don't blame them, but it really stings lesser programs like Tennessee when they do all the legwork, research, and evaluations in advance, only to see it fall apart when one of the Johnny-come-lately bluebloods come a'callin'.

FWIW from what I’m seeing his team is done at Peach Jam...they didn’t move on from their pool so they won’t be in the quarterfinals. Not sure what that ultimately means for his recruitment but thought it was worth mentioning.

But seriously, any actual news on why he's doing this? Is Memphis in play? Saw they just offered Walker earlier this week and Mann has an offer from them too.

Not saying this is what’s happening, but hasn’t Barnes told players before to slow down and check all of their options? I’m pretty sure I remember hearing that.

Well that might be what prompted him saying that...he had named a final 3 so he’s out there showing out but not getting any new offers, meanwhile his teammate is blowing up and getting new offers ever hour. He might have asked why he wasn’t getting new offers and was told because schools thought he had shut things down to 3.

Which tells me more about wanting more offers than building intrigue for his announcement. Now if he sticks with july 30th I buy it but right now I don't

Again idk what the deal is, I’ve not gotten anything concrete, just tossing out possibilities.
