Kid kinda blew up at the Peach Jam with Kevin Durant in attendance and is probably wanting to add some attention and suspense to his decision, as well as get is name mentioned in larger circles. He's a high profile kid being a high profile kid. It sucks. but we are still right in the thick of it. The question remains how long does he plan to extend things and how long are we willing to wait around. Only Barnes and Co. know the answer.
I kind of agree. I think hes enjoying the attention he got when KD showed up to his AAU game with Barnes and he knows his stock is up right now. Wed be crazy to assume that every other school isnt also showing him a ton of love and prospects dragging out their decision because they enjoy being courted by several major programs is nothing new. Kids love attention.
The entire re-opening his recruitment narrative that hes put out seems slightly exaggerated to me personally. All he did was push his decision back 30 days while he finishes the AAU season. I still think he ends up either here or in Gainesville. Were 2 weeks away from his decision and he still hasnt even taken an official visit to Kansas.
Still a 2 school race IMO.
Per Jerry Meyer:
"His stock is going up. 5-star talent in my opinion. Not a good sign for Tennessee but not a death knell. Mann and Walker might go to same school but I wouldn't frame it as a package deal. I would keep an eye on Memphis."
As much as dislike KD now, what a power move by Ricky B. Still can't believe he brought the whole squad and arguably, his best player he's ever coached, and just so happens to be a top 5 player in the league along with him to recruit. Damn he's a savage lol.

To Stokeds credit, LaMarcus Aldridge, TJ Ford, Avery Bradley and DJ Augustin were all great college players under Barnes at Texas as well.
