'18 TN DL Greg Emerson (UT commit 7/3/17)

247 2018 1-13 rankings in TN

#1 Cade Mays UT
#2 Wray UGA
#3 Emerson (UT lean)
#4 Lawless (haven't heard much with UT)
#5 Harris (UT lean)
#6 Camron Johnson (UT probably favorite)
#7 Jack Sirmon (may be to big of a LB)
#8 Master Teague (UT lean)
#9 Taylor UT
#10 Litaker (UT probably gets)
#11 Schoenwald (UT is favorite if he's willing to be TE)
#12 Tykee Ogle-Kellogg(waiting on UT offer)
#13 King ATH from Ensworth don't know with him

Point is look how many of these kids we are in at least the top 2 for. 8-9 out of the top 13 we can easily get if we want! We already have 2, and soon I do see us getting most of these guys. Due to peer recruiting from Alontae and Cade we get around that 8 number I believe. So I do think 2018 class will be a lot more successful.

With Amari his dad doesn't like Butch, so there's that. Then you got Tee who wants to play in an offense where he can be a 1000 yd receiver. Phillips we didn't really recruit, nor did we recruit Richardson. You look early on at the 2018 class. Being at the school trey smith is at helps, and I think Emerson who could be another 5* ends up at UT. Then Litaker a 4* DT I think chooses Tennessee. I think 4* RB Master Teague is a big Tennessee lean as well, also helps Gillespie got in on him really early, but I think he ends up at UT. I mean I can go on and on, because the 2018 class is so good and they all seem way more pro UT than the 2017 class. I'm looking forward to recovering in the 2018 class.

Good points but Bryson Richardson plays for Buford in Georgia and Emerson is from the same city as Trey Smith but not the same school. Smith is at USJ, Emerson at Jackson Northside, but I believe they are friends.

I think Lawless is a UT lean also and Schoenwald played TE this season and was good, I believe he had over 100 yards in the state championship game.

Thought he played in Georgia just wasn't sure. And yeah not same school, they are really good friends so you still have that influence there.

Do you think 8-9 out of these 13 are possible? I think it definitely is, and people will be a lot happier if we get around that number.

Wray and Sirmon are really the only ones I don't think we have a shot at and I'm not even sure If we want Sirmon. King probably isn't a take at the moment but I do believe we will eventually offer Kellogg.

Well that makes about 10 that we are in the top 2 for at least. Could be a good year in 2018

Emerson is at Northside HS. Smith is at USJ.

I'm working this morning. So I'm not constantly refreshing these threads. He responded during one of those times that I was being productive. Hence the reason I posted later in the thread than him. ✌️

I'm actually sitting in a deer stand and looking at this site is the most productive thing going on this morning if that tells you anything.

Hopefully they offer Kellogg pretty soon. We are still the favorite to land him but it would benefit us to offer him sooner rather than later.

ive been laying around watching football, playing xbox with my 2 kids, and trying to conceive number 3 all week.
