That is how many times we have been sacked this year. Ark St and Ut St "only had 2". I know the offensive line is young, but I keep getting frustrated with Worley holding the ball too long knowing that. Also that he wastes his time acting like he is running with ball, when he never keeps it despite the fact that he could have gotten several first downs and kept the DE honest by doing so.

A lot of times the DE crashed but florida also had a LB on outside contain. The fact that our O line can't run block and they don't even need that linebacker to stop the run is embarrassing.

I was thinking about the amount of sacks as well. Crazy. Hard to be competitive. Think of the drives that has stalled out as a result.

Also, some people say that the QB does not have to pull the ball in this offense. We don't have to have a "running" QB. How many times did Driskell keep it today...I will help you out. He kept it more times than Worley has ALL YEAR!!!

So tired of losing. I believe in this team and staff. It is hard these days keeping the spirit going. Imagine how hard it is for our guys in Orange. Stay strong Volnation. This will pass.

I was thinking..with this many sacks we should go to more of the west-coast offense and use the short passing game and try a long pass every now and then to keep the D honest. It is obvious that we cannot pass block for a 7 step drop and we seem to be unwilling to have Worley keep in our current offense.

Don Mahoney's OL training regime apparently involves him drinking copious amounts of single malt scotch while watching the movie "Scrooged" on loop while the 1st string offensive line plays tecmo bowl and mutant league football.

This is why we threw so many screens today.

Everyone forgot the OK game so quickly.

Every pass Worley attempted over 15 yards he took a shot if he avoided a sack.

Fulmer was here four 29 years all total. In his time four freshman offensive lineman started their first year. We have three on the same line in one season. This is not jones fault. Dooley had an entire season in which he recruited no lineman. It is incredible with our lack of depth that we have been competitive thus far. Even more incredible that Worley is still healthy. Jones is recruiting lights out. Give him some time to recruit some talent. He has talent coming on both lines of scrimmage.

In all honesty, is it not legal to "pee hole block" anymore? I mean obviously our guys are getting whipped off the line, so I don't understand why we can't cut them to try and keep them honest.

Coming into today; Oregon, Louisville, and UCLA had each allowed more sacks than TN. So Butch is just going to have to find a way to get the job done.

18 sacks is on the play calling. I'm sorry, but as coach you have to know your team and your limitations. A slant pass is a great weapon against sacks. It is a quick developing play. We ran a slant pass early in the first quarter today for a 13 yard first down. We didn't attempt another one. We did however run 10+ read options for little to no yardage total. I just don't understand this. I expect ***** to get this crap corrected. They've worked too hard for simpleton play calling like that.

No way Worley makes it the season. With one of our backups in there-- Vandy might not be a win

It was repetitive. So repetitive Florida finally started pinching the ends in tighter because they knew nothing was going outside. We stick Young in there he gets about 10 yards on a play then you never see him again.. Awesome..

Kind of wish more quick slants were thrown. Especially with our WRs.

We need some offensive line help and we need it in a hurry. We also need to worry a bit about the QB spot next year. Hopefully one of the two committed QBs will be good at not throwing picks in the red zone. But I guess that won't prevent our OC from still calling mainly passing plays in the red zone while the 230lb RB, that got you 7 without blocking, is used as an extra blocker.

I agree. Don't lump me into the group you are talking about. If you read my post I am not slamming our guys. It is hard enough after a loss and only makes it worse to turn on the guys (coaches included) that give their all to us.
