'18 MS CB Jaylon Reed (Former UT commit)

Thats why I hate talking early commitments, they mean next to nothing now.

April of Junior year is early?

Seriously Newt. How long do you think we should wait to take a commitment from a recruit. His Junior year was nearly over before he committed. Plus, the recruits can say basically whatever they want on social media but the coaches have to be silent or very cryptic. Who knows where he was on our board and what the coaches have been telling him. When a kid wants to commit, he commits. VQ and GV247 can say the coaches are excited or not sure about the commitment but we don't know for sure.

We get how you feel about early commits. No need to go over it in every thread. Just like Bass over does his Lebron hate. We got it. :good!:

With everything swirling around Ole Miss at this point we probably dodged a bullet. I'd have to question anyone's decision making that would be willing to consider them.

Ole Miss is the true definition of a joke of a program. Freeze is sleazy as hell.

Let me clarify. Early commitments by say the '20 wr are lessening the effect of what a commitment means. That directly effects all commitments and therefore they mean less and less to high school players as a whole. The timing of this today made my point easier to make.

As for comparing me to Bass and LeBron, dude. I have made like three posts today about early commitments. Bass does that in 5 minutes.

Fyp

And if the '20 commit sticks, then that displays an extreme level of commitment and loyalty, i.e. Mays

That's ridiculous.

Bass certainly has the quantity argument on his side. This early commitment thing has kind of become your thing is all I'm saying. You are wearing it out ala Bruin and every topic ever. (You are not anywhere near Bruin level though. Don't take that the wrong way.)

I think you are overblowing it broseph I really just mentioned it for the first time today in the '20 wr thread.

I have spoken out about TB creating a slew of thread for '19 and '20 class kids though yes.

The 1'000 rated player out there its time to start pulling in top 300 players if you won't to compete with the likes of Bama LSU the dawgs and the Gators if you won't to keep going 7 and 5 or 8 and 4 and a lame excuse each year why you can't win keep getting these project players its time to get some 4 and 5 stars these high thought of walkons and project 3 stars, won't slice through the bread they will dull a sharp knife if you don't watch it stars does matter in recruiting unless you like 8 and 4 and music city bowls every year.as PAUL HARVEY would say thats the rest of the story i will hang up and listen have a good day VOL NATION YOU MAY NOT LIKE IT OR AGREE WITH IT BUT OLD TP TELLS THE TRUTH been fan for 49 years get old getting these lame excuses each year just tell the truth bama the dawgs gators LSU kicked our azz most years in recruiting until we turn the azz kicking around in recruiting expect the same old excuses and plenty trips to NASHVILLE in the near future for bowl games.

Figured I'd bump this post to give u bridge jumpers a little peace of mind...
