Got it backwards don't you? We were commenting on a true homer article from an OSU writer, who clearly has the problem seeing that there might actually be good things outside of OSU. Not surprised you side with OSU fan, you know, just to stir the pot and all but you have never seen me post like there is nothing good outside of Tennessee.
Anyway, since when does level of competition you play not affect how good a player is? We consider it in high schoolers going to college and the NFL takes it into consideration as well. That's a fact, it's ONE of the key factors of measuring someone's talent. Before you go off into left field, notice I said its ONE factor, not the only one. And yes, I realize that since it's not the ONLY way to gauge a kids talent, kids from smaller schools are drafted as well. Still doesn't change the fact Leb.
Do you think the nfl factored in osu's competition in this past draft?
Anywho, I hope mr jones decides soon.
They didn't pick Cardale in the first round...so prolly not. :dunno: Comparing the reasoning of high school kids to professional talent evaluators is one of your better gems. Your Buckeyes board wondering why you're not around more to declare utter victory on everything?
"If he makes a decision in the near future, that certainly bodes well for OSU. On the other hand, if this drags on, I think OSU clearly benefits from that. Ultimately, I think the key thing is for him to consider all of the positives of OSU, and weigh that against the negative fact, that the other schools are not OSU, and come to find that there is only one choice for him to make. That assumed that he does this in the most beneficial time frame, which I outlined earlier." - OSU HOMER

And how do you think the OSU board would treat a Vol fan coming over there and spewing nonsense? You came to a rival board. Most here are very respectful and intelligent people. No one here is being mean. Just don't expect us to hold your hand and pat your back.
Probably poorly.
I am not spouting nonsense though. I have been respectful and have even added info from the osu side on croots both schools are recruiting. Since when are osu and tenn rivals?
"Probably so. If Jones had done something right after his trips to Ohio State and Tennessee a couple weeks ago, it's hard to imagine the Buckeyes wouldn't have been the choice. The fact that he's taken this long to do something suggests he still might be wrestling with his decision quite a bit. He obviously likes Ohio State, but distance is working in UT's favor"
Callahan on if Emory still being undecided is good for UT
Distance and depth chart. From what I heard of OSU's spring practice it appeared that Dwayne Haskins was looking sharp. With him possibly being a #2 (Potential RS during this season) OSU will have two Freshman QBs (Haskins and Tate Martell) vying for the starting job come next season. If Haskins wins the competition over Martell one could look for him to RS as well which would put Emory coming into a Freshman battle for the back-up and riding the pine until his senior season. Now that is a huge "IF" but it could still happen. Us being light on the QB side in 2017 could be huge if he's looking at the quickest path to PT. Now granted JG will probably RS this year and look to start at a RS Freshman but if he were to play out that would at maximum put Emory's chance to see the field as a RS Jr. I would hope these guys are taking a hard look at depth charts because they may be blowing you up as all that but you could get hung up in a cluster with several other "All Thats".

Well tomorrow is the first and we were hearing it was going to be a late June decision. So the fact that he hasn't committed is telling.
Tifwiw, had two guys that basically say the same, that Jones is still keeping an eye on what Lawrence does. They have hit on most Tn targets, so at least worth listening to. IF that is true, it at least rules one team out. TL is either Tn, CU, or Ga. Jones could go ahead and pick OSU not caring of TL's decision. Interesting take, not that I agree or disagree but was at least interesting. Would at least mean Tn is still in the thick of the race for both TL and EJ.
