'18 GA QB Emory Jones (Ohio State commit)

I've lived in Charleston for the last ten years or so and the Ohio hate is for real

They even have a "go back to Ohio" day at the local single a ballpark

Go back to Ohio.....that's fantastic.

Disappointed it's only single A though. BRB, I'm gonna hit up some of my peeps and get that noise bumped up a couple leagues......

Rhetorical question:

A question that you ask without expecting an answer. The question might be one that does not have an answer. It might also be one that has an obvious answer but you have asked the question to make a point, to persuade or for literary effect.

Nice :hi:

This is one of those recruitment where in the end he could very well pick us. I think distance and the relationships he has with Butch could pull him away from Urban. Urban is a good snake oil salesman, I'll give him that at least.

TBH, I thought we would know by now or the very latest by this coming Friday. Not sure what to make of it.

I'm sure ol butch could move some snake oil too.....

I have always heard that South Carolinians HATE the state of Ohio because the vast majority migrate there.

If you are seeing it in Tennessee too.... Uh oh

We takin this whole sh*t ova!

Edit: if you see an osu bar, make sure you stay out on game day unless you want to hear how to spell O-H-I-O for 3 hours...

I'm just giving you grief. Most of the one's I've met are pretty cool. Got a guy that played college ball at Toledo that goes to the same gym I train at. I think the most annoying three hours I remember was when I had Penn State on parlay and was sitting near a section of fans at a sports bar. That 'We are' nonsense was over the top. I remember a part of me wanted to see them lose even if it cost me the parlay.

I just got around to reading that OSU article, did that guy actually say "the sooner he commits, it favors OSU" in the same sentence as "the longer it drags on, it favors OSU"? That's beyond homer, right there.

The way it is getting around here Nashville will soon have to have "Go back to Ohio", "Go back to Illinois", "Go back to Michigan" days, and one each for a bunch of other states. Out of staters pouring in to this city at sn alarming rate.

"If he makes a decision in the near future, that certainly bodes well for OSU. On the other hand, if this drags on, I think OSU clearly benefits from that. Ultimately, I think the key thing is for him to consider all of the positives of OSU, and weigh that against the negative fact, that the other schools are not OSU, and come to find that there is only one choice for him to make. That assumed that he does this in the most beneficial time frame, which I outlined earlier." - OSU HOMER

I had to read that twice to make sure I had read it correctly. Wow. Outside of being, well, extremely homeristic, the argumentation and logic is hysterically bad. Poor guy. He needs to go back and take Journalism 101.

It's tough for some to comprehend there are good things outside of Tennessee. While I get why some recruits decide to take the harder route to the pros via the SEC gauntlet, I also understand why a lot choose to go another route. Does the NFL really care if you played in the SEC or another conference if you're a star? Nope.

Got it backwards don't you? We were commenting on a true homer article from an OSU writer, who clearly has the problem seeing that there might actually be good things outside of OSU. Not surprised you side with OSU fan, you know, just to stir the pot and all but you have never seen me post like there is nothing good outside of Tennessee.
Anyway, since when does level of competition you play not affect how good a player is? We consider it in high schoolers going to college and the NFL takes it into consideration as well. That's a fact, it's ONE of the key factors of measuring someone's talent. Before you go off into left field, notice I said its ONE factor, not the only one. And yes, I realize that since it's not the ONLY way to gauge a kids talent, kids from smaller schools are drafted as well. Still doesn't change the fact Leb.
