Ok.. I just drove through Cordele today on my way down 75 south to Florida.

I passed a high school near the interstate so I turned off and went back.

It was closed of course, so I left a note on the door.

" Dear Mr. Quay Walker,

Please come and play football for Tennessee. You will be coached real good, play in front of 102,445 every home game, and be a legend.

Here is $5 towards gas money (see attached envelope) for you to help defray travel costs to Knoxville.

We appreciate it.

I think I just single handedly tilted the scales in our favor.
