I think currently UT is where he ends up. The kid wants to see the field early. At UA he would play on ST maybe in some blowouts(could get on earlier if injuries occur like Moses did) and UGA the same and I really only think his interest in UGA is because the class they are putting together and the hype with the program currently. He seems to like the attention and why not. Enjoy it while you can but he would start at UT and no one else can offer that right now. JMO

Do you remember Sedrick Irvin? He was committed to Tennessee for months.... the coaching staff was waiting on it to be faxed in when all of a sudden it ended up at Michigan State instead. You have to judge who brings reliable info and if they say it is in the bag then they believe it probably is. The problem is that these are teenagers and can wake up tomm morning and change their mind.

Hearing we now be after Otis Reese out of GA. If so I think the staff is looking to replace the spot Walker has. If Walker and V Jackson stick according to our side we were not going after any other LB in this class.

The Volquest guys have been saying it’s a UT vs UGA battle for awhile now. We absolutely have to get this guy. Him and JJ are the integral pieces of the new 3-4, besides a NT.

Nothing is ever in the bag with regards to recruiting until the loi is signed and sent in. That's why I don't even pay attention to recruiting until the season is over. It's constantly changing. There have been several that we thought were "in the bag" who ended up somewhere else.

From Bama Rivals...

Quay Walker, four-star from Crisp County High School in Cordele, Georgia, is set to return to Tuscaloosa. He considered taking an official visit to Athens this weekend. He met with Alabama coaches Tosh Lupoi, Pete Golding and Denzel Devall on Wednesday.

Walker decided he will take an official visit to Alabama this weekend. He will visit Auburn next week and will visit Georgia on the weekend prior to National Signing Day. Most believe Walker will flip his commitment with Tennessee also in the mix. He visited the Volunteers last weekend.

Walker committed to Alabama during the summer. His strongest relationship with coaches in Tuscaloosa are now a new head coach at Tennessee or the new defensive backs coach with the Oakland Raiders (Derick Ansley). Tosh Lupoi has since taken on Walker's recruitment for Alabama. Walker's mother will also visit Tuscaloosa.
