We need a true DE in this class or we'll be in trouble at that position. I know what Emerson says, and I hope he's right, but he probably ends up at DT

What are you basing this on? He's down in the 260s. The same nonsense was said about Barnett. And he has repeatedly stated he is doing everything possible to stay at the DE position. We need a weakside DE. Since Davis is off of the table getting a guy like Ojulari is critical.

Dude, in just basing on what basically every recruiting website has said including VQ. I hope that's wrong, but the guy is huge and hasn't been through a college program. We'll see wgt happens but I hope he can stay at DE. We need a guy like Ojulari but it doesn't sound good for us

All the recruiting sites had Barnett tabbed as a DT also. I think he is a DE. Imo he looked much better at the lighter weight. With that said, we still need a legit high school weak side DE in this class.

We need a true weak-side pass rusher in this class desperately. This guy just seems like a huge longshot. I'm afraid we are making a big mistake in not recruiting Jibunor hard enough in the hopes of landing this guy. It will likely cost us both in the end.

I think we are in great shape with our 18 DL recruiting class. There are a couple of other positions which I believe we need to improve,i i.e. LB and CB. In addition, we have some very good DL recruits we need to get. If we can retain Hoke as our DL coach, we will recruit defensive players very well in the future.

Who is this Simonton guy who is suddenly popping up and why are we giving him any credit? Serious question, seeing his name every where, but have no idea who he is, or why he's worth listening to.

He is the newest hire at VolQuest. He used to write for a Florida site, but he does appear to be pretty unbiased and gets solid information.

He replaced Paul Fortenberry on Volquest earlier this year. Before that he covered the Vols for SEC country, so he's been around the program for awhile. He grew up in GA and went to college at UF so VQ members are always giving him shyt calling him "Gator Jesse" and the like. But in reality he's actually doing a very good job for VQ, writing some of the best articles they've ever had and he seems to have a really good feel for recruiting just like Fortenberry did.

He's really cool on the weekly Volquest podcast, too. He jumped in and they didn't miss a beat. It was like he'd been doing it for years. Great insight, cool dude.

We are going to be in trouble if they don't start recruiting some elite lash rushers. Barnett was a freak but he really is all butch Jones and staff have recruited on par with elite teams in sec one in five years is not anywhere good enough.
