We won’t in the future but our staff got together extremely late.... already done a good job as long as we don’t lose anyone.... hoping for the best on signing day.

Gotcha. Still think he’s a long shot. If we hit on one of those top guys this one wouldn’t matter as much.

If not, Bruin is correct. We’ll find out soon enough

I definitely think we will get somebody that will make us forget about this guy. I think we're at least in the picture for OG, ITS and Campbell. I do not think we will miss on all 3. Especially with ITS bringing his whole family this week. Seems like a good thing. Campbell would be the longest shot, but you never know. And OG may be leaning USC but I think he really likes us and we may be less than a 50/50 shot at getting him but I don't think it's much less. JMO though.

I think the staff has done a very good job no doubt but on this individual recruitment it's a fail imo

Disappointing news with Palmer. Landing a kid with a 2-3 week relationship is very tough, but it still sucks when your competition is a school like NC State. Losing a kid to them is bad.

My guess is the kid knows he's not the top of the CB board for UT, Clemson, Bama etc and sees NCSU as a school that's recruited him longer and wants him a lot more. Many times these kids go where they feel the most wanted and can't say I blame them. Now if we miss on all the other CB targets and don't sign Palmer that will sting but I get why Palmer might be favoring NCSU. JMO

He does not have great top end speed. But great and fluid hips

Don't cross off Taiyon Palmer just yet. Like we've said, recruiting is evergreen. Dynamics change daily.

Sources tell VolQuest that after rebuffing Tennessee's staff earlier this week, Palmer had multiple conversations with Vols coaches today. @Austin_Price first got word earlier today that Palmer was set to host several Tennessee assistants this afternoon.

It's clear N.C. State is the leader for the Georgia cornerback right now, but UT is suddenly back in the picture and is trying to swing the late momentum away from the Wolfpack.

If Griffins really off the board and looks like ITS is buying his family orange jumpsuits, he should be a huge priority.
