'18 GA CB Jaycee Horn

You'd think with early playing time being a big factor, Bama would be farther down the list..

I think he wants Bama, but they don't want him. With him being all over the place, these kids usually end up at the school where they have the best relationship with the coach, in this case he's said himself it's with T-Rob.

Yep if he wanted TN and SC for certain he would be committed. Clearly waiting to see what bama does

From the standpoint of the recruit, this is a smart move. I don't know if he is waiting on Bama or not, but waiting until the end of September gives him 5 weeks of senior film. If they are on the fence about him then he has a chance to bump himself up the board with some 5*type performances. I hope he shows out then picks us.

You know I think he really wants to see how our defense plays the first couple of games and then he'll choose from there.

A jaylin williams decommitted from ole miss who is down here in gwrmantown

If we dont get Horn any idea if he or who might be an option? Ole miss tends to have a good eye for dbs

Surely you've read what happened in that particular game. And you still choose to be salty. What a waste. I hope your employer has the same attitude towards you when you mess up. No second chances. No looking for causation. Just straight castigation that you can never live down.

What happened in that particular game that caused us to lose?

Take your pick. A cancerous RB, a plethora of injuries, and a lack of execution by the team. Freshman starting at CB. Depleted LB depth.

Surely you saw the earlier Phil Steele post breaking down injuries and the amount of starts lost per team. Tennessee was at a 14 year high in the entire NCAA. There's injuries that depth takes care of and then there's what happened to us last year. There were guys starting last year who aren't even in the conversation to start this year.

We have to start the season strong, IMO, and it'll be between us and Alabama.[/QUOTE]

I think Bama is looking at bigger fish committed to other schools before they use their backup plan commitments.

Did we lose that game?

...oh and please don't call back. Thanks.

Oh right...that fumble recovery in the end zone by the same cancer of a player that cost us the SC loss. Which brings up an interesting hypothetical: would you have preferred Hurd not be on the team last year and taken a loss vs Appy St but won vs USCe?

No Hurd, lost to Appy state but won the SEC East and go to Sugar Bowl? Um, yeah. 100%.

If Hurd's not there, Kamara starts.. Different and better team. We win more games, IMO...

You can't assume that you take away one player and add in a new player that the game ends up in the same situation at the end. Ever heard of the butterfly effect?
