Free article on Litaker in The Tennessean. Talks about his knee injury, the death of his mother and where he's at going into spring training. Hate to see any kid go through what he has in the last year but he seems to have handled it well as you can hope. I'll be rooting for him regardless of where he ends up. He said he is expecting to make a decision in 2-3 weeks.

I don't know but I feel we take a lot of guys with injury history in high school. Could that have any correlation to all the injuries we have?

Knees and back are always cause for concern with big guys. But I'm sure he's gotten a clean bill of health. If it was a concern, it would likely reflect in his offer list or ranking.

Maybe, but I think the hiring of Rock Gullickson will resolve much of that.

Fellow in-state defensive tackle D’Andre Litaker continues to lean toward Tennessee. Litaker will likely take another visit or two, as his recruitment remains tied to close friend Jarek Campbell. Right now, Campbell simply isn’t in the picture for UT. Litaker hopes to wrap up his recruitment in late May-early June.
