'18 DT TN D'Andre Litaker

Dropped to an 88 3* on 247. Strange timing. Did he even camp or attend any combines this spring/summer? Wonder what their sudden reasoning was for the drop.

This is part of the reason I refuse to follow 247...they are a flash in the pan IMO...they've done a lot of flashy things to try to get their business going and I think it's ultimately leadiing to a bad product...from what I've seen they are erratic and unquestionably biased with their rankings/re-rankings, they are inconsistent and often unfounded in their predictions and their "revolutionary" composite ranking system is filled with holes that they apparently have no plans to address...they remind me of the young kid straight out of school that thinks he's going to take out the old salty dog that's been doing the job forever...it usually doesn't go well for the kid

He's coming off an injury. Why would he go up? Also didn't volatil say he didn't look great last week?

But why would he drop? He was rated a 90 well after his injury and dropped before last week's scrimmage. It's bizarre. Also strange Shockey Louis went from an 85 to a 90 in May while he was still committed to Kentucky and then all of a sudden dropped to an 87 a few weeks ago. Again, attended no camps or combines during that time frame.

I believe volatil said that he looked average against an OL that weighed less than him. Then Litaker got pissed off about something and then dominated some plays.

Just because he doesn't go up doesn't mean he has to go down.

He's showing interest in UT...that's enough to taint his worth.

I agree. Their product IMO sucks. They've even screwed up Scout since they took over their site. If you look they have UT rated 6th on scouts rankings with 6 4* commits, but if you look at Tennessee actual commit list they have 11 4*'s committed. They are all over the place with inaccuracies and inconsistencies.

That's what I'm thinking as well. Especially, when you look at the primary person(s) who rank these players over there.

I'm making light of the fact that recruiting services "hate" us supposedly...but sometimes the circumstances surrounding our recruits rankings do seem a bit coincidental.

If he was committed to Bama, he'd get a bump in the rankings whether he was injured or not.

All recruiting services are biased. It doesn't take a genius to figure that out.

The old Matt Elam treatment. Of course, Matt ended up flopping at Kentucky.
