It definitely matters. You have the advantage going second on offense since you know what you need.

It was Colorado States choice to take the ball or the end in the 2nd OT. I assume they took which end to defend instead of going first.

That may be why the TV announcers were wondering why there was some kind delay in choosing which end in the 2nd OT.

When was the last time a sports personality got the avalanche of media attention like he is getting now? Every sports talk show I listen to has him as a main talking agenda. GameDay has basically set up permanent camp in Boulder. AFLAC commercials are everywhere. ESPN with article after article about him and his team. Even 60 Minutes jumping into the money grab with a feature tonight. The political forum likes to accuse the other half of the country as sheep, but heck 100 percent of the country is media sheep.

The funny thing here is that there's an FBS program out there right now...likely a P5 team...that will hire Coach Sanders for a King's ransom when the time comes (I'm guessing after the '24 season, '25 latest). And within 3 years, that will be the latest, greatest, and likely most expensive example to date of what happens when you pay a boatload of gold for a dump truck full of bull manure.

We probably wouldn’t do an NIL deal KFC or vice versa, but I’m sure could find something . Everyone would be on board . Just imagine if Deion came here and beat Bama and some other big programs like he has so far.
