Very true. People get so worked up about commits in May 2017, for the February 2018 signing class. He had already said that there was not going to be an announcement this weekend because he had testing scheduled over the weekend.

As of right now, there are 9 months to go before signing day for the 2018 class. It's a little too early for me to be stressing about a QB recruit.

Having a solid QB commit early sets the foundation for the recruiting class. It's not like waiting on other positions. It is important. Not make or break, but still important and a difference maker.
